We have experience synthesizing extractants and ligands for metal binding, as well as alternative solvents for use in liquid-liquid extractions. Examples of molecules that we can synthesize are Schiff bases, oximes, room-temperature ionic liquids, and task-specific ionic liquids. We can also use hydrothermal and solid-state synthesis techniques to synthesize catalytically and/or luminescent silicate or oxide materials and metal-organic framework compounds (MOFs).
