We have applied our expertise in rare earth and lithium extractions to first-row transition metals. In particular, we have worked with the separation of first-row transition metals from iron in abandoned mine drainage. We have also applied our technology to recover the small concentration of copper remaining in the raffinate and spent electrolyte from commercial copper mining and electrowinning operations.
